Introduction

Nowadays, changes in life patterns of the 20’s generation bring lots of disturbances in their physical and mental health. They face lots of challenges in maintaining good health because of changes in their eating habits as they most of their food consists of junk or oily food that have less nutrition and also they don’t eat their meals on time. They also face sleep issues like staying up all night or late at night. These changes badly affect their health. Due to which they are cranky and in strain all the time. There’s a known proverb that “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. So you should take care of yourself to live a healthy and happy life.

Parameters 

Following parameters can be adapted to maintain your fitness.

  • Eating Balanced Diet

We should have a completely balanced diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, low cholesterol meals and grains. Regularly have your breakfast followed by a high in nutrition lunch and a light dinner before 7. As it is said that eating before 7 can help in digestion and reduce bad fat in the body.  Following things should be considered while having a balanced diet.

  • Restrict carbonated drinks
  • Limited Use of Alcohol
  • No Smoking or drugs
  • Avoid processed foods
  • Regular Exercise

One should include a daily 30 minute exercise. Least a person should do a brisk walk daily. A morning or an evening walk is best for inhaling fresh air which not only soothes your mind but also your soul and is good for your body. Proper exercise that can be basic should be done at home if you can’t go out. It is good for the heart, sugar, digestive system and many more.

  • Enough Sleep

Body functions properly only when its sleep requirement is good. Even the brain needs to rest although it is still working during sleep. Not getting proper and enough sleep could cause anger issues, frustration, getting tired easily or even diseases like insomnia. 

  • Staying Hydrated

60% of a human body consists of water that means more than half of a body is working on water. So one should stay hydrated as drinking plenty of water makes you fit and you have healthy skin and proper kidney‘s working.

  • Taking Supplements

If you don’t eat vitamin or protein enriched food, you should start taking supplements to meet their needs in your body. Having daily multi vitamins is a good idea.

  • Meditation

Stress is very difficult to handle and our young generation stresses out on smaller things. Stress does not allow your body to function properly. It causes lots of problems like obesity, poor digestion, blood sugar etc. Meditation is the best way to handle stress or anger issues. One can maintain their mental fitness and improve social skills by keeping social relationships as well as exploring nature.
