Nvidia’s chief executive Jensen Huang is set to accompany President Donald Trump on a state visit to the United Kingdom next week, alongside a lineup of top U.S. business leaders. According to reports, the delegation will include OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, with Apple CEO Tim Cook also invited.

The visit will feature a state banquet hosted by King Charles, underscoring the political and economic weight of the trip. Huang’s participation follows his growing ties with Trump as Nvidia navigates challenges related to U.S. export restrictions on AI chips bound for China.

Earlier this year, Nvidia’s access to the Chinese market was disrupted, forcing the company to scrap its H20 chips—an estimated $8 billion revenue opportunity. However, Huang has since secured waivers to sell limited chips and continues lobbying for licenses to export Nvidia’s next-generation Blackwell chips.

Trump has repeatedly praised Nvidia’s technological leadership, especially after the company surpassed a $4 trillion market cap, and Huang has positioned the company as vital to U.S. national security and global AI dominance.
